I just saw something I thought I would never see. Missouri had all the momentum. See where you Pinkel decides to go nuts.

Tie Game. MU has the ball. 3 Time Outs.

MU ball on the 1:27 on the MU 8-yard line
1st and 10 39-yard run to the left

1:19 left.
1st and 10 on the MU 47-yard line
Screen pass for 8 yards. Out of bounds

1:12 left
2nd and 2 on the 42-yard line
7-yard run up the middle to the 35.

1:07 left
1st and 10 on the 35-yard line
Time Out.
5-yard run up the middle

2nd and 5 on the 30-yard line clock running
Pass out of bounds.
Clock stops at 21 seconds

3rd and 5
Pass to the left. Almost intercepted.

4th and 5
17 seconds left
Timeout by Pinkel
Another Timeout by Pinkel
Finally a kick and the kicker misses it to the left.

WTF Pinkel? You're icing your own kicker???? You THROW when you're gashing ASU up the middle?

Maybe he's turning back into the pre-Chase Daniel Pinkel we all grew to know and love. That was pretty bizarre...

I agree. You just need a fieldgoal. You are in somewhat-long fieldgoal range. You have been running pretty decently. Why pass? Focus on getting into moderate fieldgoal range and run the ball.

I'm kind of about mixing shit up and keeping the opponent guessing...

but in the late stages, if you're clowning a bunch of wind-suckers, don't stop until they stack. Especially if you need one freaking point to win.

The sad thing is that Ressel has been money his whole college career. More times than not, he makes that kick. 'Nother five yards closer wouldn'ta sucked....

'twas a good game despite the outcome. I'm geeked that Franklin played so well because I had serious doubts. He may not be Brad Smith (yet) but the cupboard was not left bare when Gabbert left early for fame and fortune. This kid has huge upside and a bright future wearing the Black & Gold.

Pretty disappointed in the secondary giving up those big plays but I'd rather it happen in Arizona than at Arrowhead.

And yeah, Ressel has been money. I bet he makes that kick 9/10 times.

arrowhead: don't think like that. win all your games and think of that as wasting those guys aren't as good as you are.

c'mon wags....rivalries are rivalries....i won't be stunned into tomorrow if unranked or #22 Texas (not like UCLA is looking unbeatable and UT never travels OOC) beat OU....those things happen when the big deal is on the table...it's history....we should pound those assholes....but, it doesn't always work like that.....you guys should be expecting to POUND Kansas this year. that's the RRS bullshit. Freddie Akers beat Switzer when he had no reason**. no, no...that's pussy talk from you.

that you are even posting about is bullshit. sack up bro. who cares what happens between, you guys are going to beat Kansas. they suck.

**now there is a whole story about this about how Akers figured out how to D OU's wishbone by playing LB's along the LOS....that former OU assistant Jimmy Johnson took with with to OSU and Miami (had the talent to do it there, and this crazy ass thing called the forward pass). OU lost 3 games from 85-87, all 3 were to Miami. 33-3. but, Akers gave Switzer fits.
