Blots-Griefs

Fuckin' faggot motherfuckers.

Despite your best efforts to give us the game, Cassel still managed to pick the one, lone white jersey out of a crowd (on a screen pass no less - hey, that shit takes talent) thus preserving our focused and unyielding pursuit of Andrew Luck.

A couple of impressions from the glass-half-empty bunch:

Crennel had a solid game plan for Rivers and his Blots: Hit him early and hit him often. P-Riv earned every passing yard he got. Still too many big plays given up, but a vast improvement over the past couple of weeks.

Javier Arenas' return game. Don't know if his day was a function of still-suck San Diego kicking teams, or the desire of a young return guy lauded for his efforts in college. Regardless, it was a refreshing change to see the Griefs go 3-and-out from their 40 instead of their own 20...

Cassel sucked mvscal-cock on that last play, but it was also a HORRIBLE play call. I swear to God they are scared to throw the ball down the field. No wonder opposing defenses play so close to the line of scrimmage against us.

The Chargers always start slow remember? Year after year. And these AFC west division games are usually close. Don't give up hope Chef fan. Things change quickly. I was at the game and the players were scuffling and fighting a lot after the plays. I've been saying every week teams know what we are going to do. Or is there something wrong with Philip Rivers?

Play call sucked, and the defense underwhelmed again, keeping the Griefs in the game. Funny how Darren Sproles is a star for the Saints but was a non factor in San Diego most of his last few seasons. The Bolts should have run KC out of the stadium in the first half (w/ both Mathews & Tolbert), & mixed in the pass. instead Norv believed the Griefs weren't a threat & decided to play flag football, in the process almost getting Rivers killed. Norv fucking sucks, and has the Chargers once again under achieving. This team is painful to watch, they either play down to their opponent, or don't show up. Oakland looks like the best team in the division, smash mouth, as opposed to Chargers finesse & bend over backward defense. Watched the game with a bunch of friends and it was painful for everyone, that alone says it all considering it was a win.

The '06 Raiders - only scored more than 14 pts 4 times all season.

The year Randy Moss just said, "Fuck it, I quit." lol

He was a cunt's cunt, no doubt, but that team was by far the worst Raider team I've ever seen.

I agree with everything Joe said except that the Raiders are last years Chiefs and the Chargers will overcome the usual slow start and the Duhs will fizzle like last years Chiefs.

Word.

And why do they call plays like that? Because Cassel is a scared pussy who will unload the ball or take off scrambling before letting any pass play develop. And he can't scramble nor can he throw on the run

He threw that ball early because a blitzing Blot had got within 5 feet of him, before McCluster had even turned his head to look for the ball.

Yeah, it was a bad play call, but they're calling plays for a pussy and make allowances for that. Might as well line him up in the shotgun with a spread formation every fucking play because he doesn't have the balls to run a typical drop back NFL offense.

17 for 24 with 2 td's and another long completion where the receiver stepped out at the friggin 1 inch line. Not too bad Wags. But for a 7 man blitz on the last play he might have led them on down to a victory. On the other hand Philip Rivers looked like crap thanks to the predictible play caling. This guy simply doesn't know how to game plan for an opponent. Doesn't adjust either. When Bowe went out, my wife knew the ball was going to Breaston...did Norv double him...hellllll no. At least Haley knew to double and triple Gates last year and take him completely out of the game....We got Miami coming up next...they got nothing but Marshall who a couple of years ago caught something like 26 balls against the Bolts...will Norff double him, don't count on it. I'm fed up with this guy and it looks like the players are as well.
