I like cottage cheese

It's definitely better than a load to the face, that's for sure. I eat it for breakfast with cocktail fruit regularly. I started getting into it once I started working 9-5 jobs here in, yes, DC.
Anyone else here like cottage cheese? What else do you like to eat it with? Do you get the non-fat or the whole fat? I used to get the whole fat, but I moved down to the low-fat tripe about eight months ago. It's decent shit. Sometimes I'll throw a Steven Strasburg-like change up and eat it with mangoes, but that can be expensive.
This shit is the bomb, I get it when I stay at my parents.

I can take or leave the curds and whey.
OK on salads.

I can honestly say that I've never tried cottage cheese in my life. It just looked really gross when I was a little kid and nobody ever forced me to eat it, so I happily abstained. Maybe it's time to branch out...

Yes. As a freshman in college when the dormitory meal plan allowed unlimited seconds and thirds, I ate six pineapple slices smothered in cottage cheese along with the rest of my lunch. I can only guess that it’s better than a baby-batter splatter on your mug.

I heard of people eating lightly-salted peanuts with it, that sounds good. Maybe I'll try it with cocktail fruit and peanuts.

Have'a Chips dipped in low fat cottage cheese...one of the finest snacks around.

Deadly with hot buttered toast, black pepper and sour dill. Vinegar plays off better than sweet, like mango or pineapple

I didn't say I like your wife's cottage cheese.

Should she get a yeast infection, I'm sure that cottage cheese will taste better than anything you can buy in a grocery store IN DC!

Bowl of red grapes
Double serving low-fat cottage cheese
Fantasic lunch right there. Don't venture too far away from a restroom in three hours.

I like it for lunch. The regular, not the lowfat, yuck. With or without some peaches or strawberries.

I agree...for the most part. Except for this one brand, you can't really tell it's low fat (unless you read the label of course).

You're right. I have had Knudsen 2% and it is fine. I used to only buy Knudsen sour cream, now I'm hooked on Daisy.
