Zebras tried giving the game to the Steelers today

But the Texans overcame it and played their most aggressive defensive game plan in franchise history.
You could argue Manning's ill-advised block in the back on the blocked FG returned for a touchdown was from the side.
You could definitely argue JJ Watt was pushed into BigBen's legs on JoJo's int return for a touchdown.
Too many penalties by Houston, Kubiak called a very cautious game on offense when Dre went out with the injury, and Schaub looked awful throwing short passes today. If Pittsburgh's o-line kept BigBen upright enough today, they win the game by a touchdown. Ben exploited the Texans soft spot in the secondary when Antonio Brown was absolutely abusing Jason Allen. It was like watching Jerry Rice line up against some Conference USA 2nd string CB.
Oh yeah, its good to have the Arian Brotherhood in the backfield again. 31 carries for 155 yards on his first game back? Way to ease him back into action, Kubiak. Sheesh.

Pluses for the Steelers were few and far between. About all I can think of is that the running game got a whole lot better when Mendenhall left the game and Redman/Moore took over
The minuses are a lot easier to list. On the offensive side, QB protection was for shit, Mendenhall played weak and uninspired and Hines Ward should be on a fucking milk carton. Defensively, the run D is still unacceptable, Troy is making some uncharacteristically BAD decisions and the cornerbacks not named Ike Taylor still suck donkey balls 90% of the time. Although Keenan Lewis made a few plays. Maybe he won't turn out to be a ball of suck.
To sum it up Rumple, your team got over on a team that has its collective head up its ass. The Texans played sloppy ass undisciplined football today. Lucky for them they were playing a team that has apparently forgotten how to play the game. Props for the win. But that kind of effort will get you a first round exit in the playoffs.

Yeah, Moore and Redman were much better running between the tackles in the third quarter. Texans are soft on the interior because Saun Cody cannot get any push at all. Anytime Mendenhall was running outside the tackles, the Texans pretty much pwned him. I'm not sure why your o-coordinator didn't stick with the two backups more often.
And you're right, the Texans did not play their best football today and it surely was first round exit material. Kubiak's playcalling was god awful in the second half with the run-run-pass on every fucking possession. Not sure what was wrong with Schaub today on short passes. The pass to Foster on 3rd and 8 on the Texans first offensive possession in the second half was high and hard. Not very Matt Schaub like. He looked tentative on all of his short throws today. OD bailed him out on the short pass in the grass. Not sure how OD scooped that ball up without it hitting the ground. That catch saved the drive.
Texans usually implode and lose these type of games, but they fucking manned up in the 4th quarter and took control. Credit to the defense on this one.

Only if you don't know anything about the rules.
Speaking of which, you have to be one dumb motherfucker to make an illegal block on someone who is 15 yards
behind the play. It was totally unnecessary and I am glad he cost the team 7 points. Maybe he'll not "Raider Tard this up" and actually learn something from his mistake going forward.
