OK 5-1 Royals - and I'm gonna go ahead and call it now -
Your AL Central Division champion KC Royals.
As long as I'm drinking and watching on TV they win.

You do realize this is the 20 year anniversary of the World Series Royals.
It's Carmel.
Sorta like the Bubonic plates shifting and causing those Oragamis.
Roll on Blue Wave.

They are powerless against the mighty force that is the spinning crown.

The Crown mezcalizes all who look into it's omnipotence.
It almost appears that Royals spelled backwards is Slayer
That's gotta mean something

Why, exactly, does this keep getting moved?
Is it the baseball discussion, or the fact that we haven't sold our souls to another team?

Have a free preview of extra innings this weekend, caught the sox/jays game, the 2 sox announcers are the WORST ever. They weren't even calling the game, they were commenting about some lame Dunkin Donunts backdrop they had at Skydome. Then they had the gall to say west coast baseball fans aren't as passionate as east coasters....HUH? Ask the 3 million fans that go to Angels and Dodgers games each year, they are as passionate as you will find.
Remember, Angels fan booed Donnie Moore so much after game 5 of the 86 ALCS he committed suicide. :(

The feed by the Jays' flagship station wasn't that great either, after the color guy died last year (John Cerutti) the play-by-play guy just didn't want to do it again this year so he got a job with a different station. Now we've got a rookie play-by-play man whose job last year was to sit in the studio and update games and he's VERY green. Him and his colour man were going through the 411 on Blaine Neal as Zaun's ball sailed through the air and then he goes "I don't believe this, IT WENT OVER THE WALL!!!" as the grand slam cleared the fence. Lame.
I agree on that being a rather dumbheaded comment by the Sox announcers. You can even throw in Giantfan and Padrefan with that passionate west coast group. Although, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim thing is stupid. One of the guys on the morning highlight show's take on it: "hey.... that's just like calling the Rays the Tampa Bay Devil Rays of St. Petersburg!!!"

I have to give the Angels credit though, they don't mention the two city name at games. PA announcer David Courtney always announces everything as "your Angels", even on the scoreboard, instead of the LAA prefix, they put up the Angels logo. All of the merchandise just has "Angels" on it, no mention of either Anaheim or Los Angeles.
