I like your writing and interview style.

But of the '86 albums you mention, Master was the shiznit. Not quite as good as Ride, IMO, but still just awesome.

But man, if you publicly listened to, or even discussed Slayer back in '86, you were a freaking leper.

I'm not gonna knock Master of Puppets. It was a great album, although I agree that Lightning was a little bit better. But in terms of 1986 thrash albums, all must bow to the mighty Slayer. I might even rank Puppets below Peace Sells, to be honest. It was just an amazing year for thrash...
