World Series - call it

Rangers in 6 - I'd call for a sweep but Carpenter might win a game or two.

You know how you know you really hate another team/city/franchise?

When you're rooting for a Texas team to flush them.

Josh Hamilton "accidently" kills Bud Selig when he overthrows his catcher and his laser throw pierces the netting and lands square in the eye socket of Bud causing his brain matter to squirt out his nose.

Rangers win in 6 games and Hamilton is named MVP despite going 2-22 in the series.

In the division series I picked the Rangers to lose to the Rays and the Cards to lose to the Phillies so this is a huge surprise seeing these two teams in the World Series. I like the fact that the Cardinals got hot at the right time and how they have Holliday getting some jungle karma today. The way they beat Philadelphia, you have to say that they are the best team. The Rangers handled some also-rans like the Rays and the Tigers. Big deal. They didn't have to go through Boston or even the Yankees which made their road much easier.
Also I think Ron Washington is a dipshit who celebrates like Jim Schwartz and also makes dumbass managerial decisions like he did last year. He'll fuck it up again plus the Cardinals have home field advantage and LaRussa will outclass him.

Cardinals win in six games.

My thought before this started was Texas in 6, so I'll stick with that.

Great game again tonight. Rack Ian Kinsler, a Mizzou boy, who started that 9th inning rally.

As for Michael Young, he's a defensive liability at 1B. They could be down 0-2 right now thanks to him.

When Kinsler's ducksnort fell in, don't try to tell me that Mgo wasn't thinking, 'Fuck you, YaFJ. Don't even think about pulling your shit now....'

Then came the Pujols gaffe, which was the biggest play of the game...and you just knew it was on...

They were both too busy freezing their balls off. Look for the bats to heat up back in Texas... at least Ranger bats.

Get your grip on, everyone.

Rangers polish off the Cards in their house tomorrow night and I am exactly correct. Just a better overall team.

YaFJ trying to work some reverse karma now. That's a new strategy, but certain to succeed. You can't go wrong picking both teams.

In other news, remember how it was colder than a witches teat last week in St. Loogie?

Well, it's been in the 80's here the past several days but cold weather is moving back in, just in time for Game 6. Probably not quite as cold as last week, but still too cold for baseball.

Rack Cardinals fans suffering.

If St. Louis comes back again here, this one has to go down as being among the weirdest and best WS game ever.

RW was a dumbfuck for not bring Neftali back for the 10th.

Darren Oliver? seriously?

Rangers don't deserve to win now because they played not to lose.

Okay, this is officially now the best and weirdest WS Game ever. If there is a God in heaven, that pernicious dick will let the home team win this one so there can be a Game 7.

This is so much like that Carlton Fisk Game 6 in '75. The only problem there is the Big Red Machine came back the next night (or whenever the rain delays finally allowed them to play again) to win Game 7 anyway.

Yep, this is the first time any team in WS history ever came back from TWO 2-run deficits in the 9th inning or later.

Truly, one for the ages. The Cards just have to finish this off to prevent an anticlimactic ending.

Rack the FUCK our of Freese. Two run triple in the 9th, game winning homer in the 11th. That's a lifetime of clutch in a span of three innings.

it will be tremendously difficult for Texas to come back from this heartbreaker for game 7, but I hope they do.

RW will be 2nd guessed for all eternity if they lose this WS, deservedly so.

In two different innings Texas was one strike away from taking their first ever WS. Two 2-run deficits overcome. HORRIBLE defense. A walk-off bomb.

History.

Fuck the NBA.

Especially with Ron Washington having already burned Barney Fife Derek Holland for tomorrow.

Again, though, this...

Btw, amid all that craziness it should not be overlooked that Nelson Cruz pussed out on Freese's triple in the 9th. He pulled up as soon as he felt the warning track. On the last play of a WS, I'm sorry, but you run THROUGH that fucking wall if that's what it takes to make the catch and win a world title. He easily could've had that one.

Freese's postgame interview sounded JUST like Jeff Spicoli...

This series has been more memorable for its poor decisions than any in recent memory. If I didn't know any better, I'd say LaRussa was hitting the bottle again and Washington was hitting the pipe. Hard.

the guy who is the lead actor in Burn Notice was there. saw him walk by and said "that guy is on a show that I have never seen". he's about 5'9''.

get tickets from an old college friend who is doing well with fox sports. I don't think I can return this favor.

that game was tense. too many ups and downs. heart attacks. 9.75 beers. called in sick to work today.

exciting at the end but a turrible game early on. I swear Furcal had bet against the Cardinals.

my seats were not in a position to see Cruz miss Freese's triple. just saw the replay. still can't determine if he played it super poorly or just poorly.

God told Hamilton he'd hit a home run? I think he's hitting the pipe again.
