They had to travel. That's a road game. It's not their fault your fans suck.

And if Sanddy Eggo travels and hour up north and wins, it's a well deserved road win.
Why are the simplest things so hard for you to grasp?

Yes, because our fans would not set foot in god forsaken Oakland.

btw...........I've been seeing and reading a lot of postgame backlash directed at Rivers for this loss. That's not really fair or accurate. He kept getting himself up and fighting. There were several reasons for the outcome of the game on the Chargers part (decimated offensive line, Jammer getting old in a hurry, Vincent Jackson growing a labia, etc.), but Rivers tonight is near the bottom of that list.

What exactly are you implying? A win in Oakland means more because your fans won't try to show up? An Oakland win in SD means less because your fans let Raiderfan occupy your stadium?
As stated earlier, it's not the teams fault your fans suck. A road win is a road win. I imagined a fan of a 1-3 road team would embrace that notion.

Rivers isn't the problem. I don't care what anyone says. At some point you have to put this on the head coach Norv Turner. I've been ready for him to go for some time now.
We have good fans. We just don't like to visit Oakland. And as far as tonight? I don't like to be around a bunch of drunk, high Raider fans, plus I was tired and wanted to be warm inside my house so I stayed home. I can't speak for anyone else. Unless you fork out as much money as we do for tickets every year, you might want to hush about that. Tickets aren't cheap. I don't blame people for not buying.

I laffed.
D. Moore and J. Ford on the outside are going to be very fun for Mr. Palmer to play with.
He can get the ball downfield ---> on target ---> and let these guy go get it.
Beautiful!
Pity that Ford hurt his ankle.
It didn't look that good, and I assume both he and McFadden will be OUT for the game on the carpet v. Minny on the 20th.
Also bet that Ford is out for a few weeks.
That pretty much blows - and we can't catch a break with injuries this year.
We've got decent depth at receiver, though.
Very solid O-gameplan by Hue this week.
Slam away with Bush (who had a GREAT game) and let Palmer pick his spots.
VERY nice job.
Disappointed that Oakland didn't close the deal when they were up 24-17 in the 4th and inside the Blot 20.
Would have liked to see them pound Bush more there and then take the FG if they didn't cash in for the TD.
27-17 or 31-17 and the game is over.
Sorry INT there and the game turned into more of an ordeal than it needed to be.
Oakland controlled this game in the trenches and it shouldn't have been this close.
Very nice win, though, and the defense hassled the shit out of cry-me-a-Rivers all night long.

Raider fans are basically terrible to be around. It's a game people. If you hate this city and fans move to Oakland and be with your people. Don't come to our city. Get rid of your attitudes.
This is one reason why some of us stay home when the Raiders come to town.

SAN DIEGO — A 25-year-old man was stabbed Thursday night during a fight in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot during the Chargers-Raiders game, San Diego police said.
The fight occurred about 7:30 p.m. near the front gate. The man was stabbed in the abdomen, police Officer David Stafford said. He was taken to a hospital, and the injury was not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
The victim was uncooperative with police and did not give officers a description of an assailant or assailants, Stafford said.
It was not immediately known if the victim was a local resident.
Announced attendance at the game was 68,109

Last night the San Diego Chargers suffered a loss to heated rival the Oakland Raiders, so as you can imagine some fans may have elected to drown their sorrows in alcohol. But somehow, winding up on a random elderly woman’s couch may be taking it to the extreme. PFT has details:
Officer Frank Cali of the San Diego Police Department tells the San Diego Union-Tribune that an 81-year-old woman reported finding the Chargers fan passed out on her couch around 7:20 a.m. ET.
The man was taken into custody and charged with being drunk in public.
Fuck the chargers and their fans.

Of course he is. I didn't see the game last night, but his mistakes have been directly responsible for the other four losses. They were in all those games and had their chances to win but Rivers blew it every single time. Two pick sixes against Green Bay, the fumble against KC, multiple picks against New York and New England. I don't know what his problem is but he is singlehandedly corkscrewing this team into the dirt.
Norveiga will almost certainly walk the plank after this season so that's a small silver lining. Hopefully, they'll bring in a real coach. Jeff Fisher is looking like a pretty good replacement to me.

Trev & R-jack were correct, Rivers wasn't the problem last night, it was the soft oline & declining defense. Of course Norv was slow to make adjustments as usual. Finally moving McMichael to help their backup turnstile at LT. Palmer is starting to look comfortable and the Raiduhs punched the Bolts in the mouth again, winning the battle on the LoS just like last season. Bush played huge, and should get a bigger piece of the pie when the somewhat fragile McFadden returns. The Duhs should win the division, KC is a fraud, and the Broncos are playing for next season.
The Duhs need to play every game with the same intensity they had in this one, something that they couldn't do last season, and that held them back.
San Diego looks like a 6-10 team. A team that needs to rebuild the oline, defense, & a find new HC.

The O line play was horrendous but, even when he had time to throw, Rivers was missing open receivers all over the place.

Rivers hasn't played to his usual standard this year, no doubt, but last night the O-Line that was "protecting" him was a joke.
Couple that with Oakland's defense playing with a serious determination off the Dungver debacle, and it was just ugly for the Charger offense.
Rivers never had the opportunity to get comfortable at all.
Hard to blame last night on him.
I was impressed with Palmer last night.
Best QB in the division and the Raiders have the most offensive tools, also.
Nobody in the West has played with positive consistency this year.
Oakland looks to be the best team, but can they keep from pissing all over themself as we move down the stretch?
Remains to be seen.
hahaha

No, overall.
They have the most wins in the division and they have two wins (Jets 5-3, Texans 6-3) over legit playoff teams.
KC, SD, and Denver have all failed to notch a win against a winning team yet - save for KC's win over Oakland when they were injury-crippled and Boller had to take snaps.
In other words, they are all frauds.
My own prediction at this time is that KC, SD, and Denver all finish around 6-10 and Oakland wins the division at 9-7.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

SM, I think he's smokin' something....
I'm pretty sure I said when Carson Palmer got picked up by the Raiders that I didn't like it one bit at all.
Division still up for grabs between Raiders and Chargers but Chargers have the tougher games ahead.
Not looking good.

No, they don't. Buffalo is #2 in the league in interceptions. The Bolts will have every chance to win the game but Rivers will fuck up and blow it. I'll call my shot and say he'll throw 3 picks with one of them being a pick six and that will be the difference in the game.
