Not much to contest here. Buffalo has no defense & a noodle arm career back up QB as their starter, nuff said. Detroit misses Best's breakaway speed & the threat he provides to go coast to coast on any play. Zero run game. Atlanta can't put a streak of wins together for a variety of reasons. KC & SD stink, Denver might finish 2nd in the division, not that it matters since its mostly garbage.

I wouldn't say up for grabs...still up 2 games on Tennessee and 4 on the Jags. They luckily get a bye week for Leinart to get extra work.

making the playoffs is the first step and if you do, anything can happen. Green Bay was a wildcard team last year who then won 3 games on the road in the playoffs to make and then win the SB.

The last time Ten made the SB, nobody gave them a chance in the playoffs and they finished 2 yards short of beating the Rams.

I'm in agreement with buc, Leinart didn't have any heart in AZ. If that's still the case, it'll be all he can do to hold on. While I agree the Texans are favored to win the South, losing Schaub is terminal for going deep into the playoffs.

Yep. It's a wait and see with Lienart. I don't think he could've asked for a more promising situation to resurrect his career.

Running game? Check
O-line? Check
Wide Receiver? Check
Tight End? Check
Defense on the other side of the ball? Check

If he can't be successful with that bag of goodies at his disposal, then he'll be back in the hot tub banging mildly attractive skanks.

I think your memory is a little hazy on Arizona's incredible run to the Super Bowl.

Warner and the Cards went undefeated within their division that season but only managed to go 3-7 outside the division. They caught fire at the right time and made a run.

Numbers and talent wise? Arizona's team was much more inferior than this year's Houston team.

Arizona was dead last in rushing offense in 2008. Houston is 1st.
Arizona was 2nd in passing offense. Houston is 10th.
Arizona was 3rd in total offense. Houston is 2nd.
Arizona's defense was ranked 19th. Houston is 3rd.

You also have to consider Houston's MO with their offense. They weren't asking a lot of Matt Schaub before his injury. Houston is on pace to only make 464 passing attempts this season. Arizona made 630 in 2008.

After looking at those numbers you tell me which situation is a more promising for a QB?

What in the fucking fuck are you talking about? The Titans were 13-3 that year. The only reason they were a wildcard is because Jacksonville was 14-2 with both of those losses coming against the Titans.

Who is more screwed...Bears without Cutler or Texans without Schaub?

I say the Bears will miss Cutler more but they've got a very favorable schedule remaining...3 more games with AFC West opponents, home with Seattle and at Minnesota. The Green Bay game won't mean much in the division race by Week 16...the Pack should have it wrapped up by then. Even without Cutler, I can still see them finishing 4-2/5-1 with who is left to play.

I was thinking this could work out well for the Lions but I've got a feeling the Bears may still finish with a better record in their final 6 games than the Lions. The Lions still have two games with Green Bay and one with New Orleans. I'm thinking they drop those three but probably win against the Chargers, Raiders and Vikings. The Lions are going to post a 10-6 record.

The facts at this point show that he is CHARGED (not convicted... yet, if ever) of 4 misdemeanors.
And he was released on $2,000 bond.

The Decatur PD must not have considered this to be crime of the century material ---> in light of letting the guy walk out just $2,000 lighter in the pocket.

This is the second incident involving McClain and gunshots in Alabama in the last year. In January, someone opened fire at McClain’s Chevy Tahoe. McClain told police he was driving past a group of people standing on a street corner when an unknown individual started shooting.

I get that "discharging a weapon within city limits" is a misdemeanor
and I'll be the first to confess that I'm no lawyer and certainly don't know the laws in Alabama....but wouldn't threatening a guy at gunpoint fall within the scope of an aggravated assault or assault with a deadly weapon charge?
