i wouldn't say michigan's scab dicked their way to 9-2 so much as the big ten happens to suck out loud this year. while in no position to be presumptuous - i'll resume the fetal position as soon as i hit submit - fortunately for us ohio state is a big reason everyone's been able to pad their record with easy wins.

I am just happy that I get to be excited for a Michigan - Ohio State game for the first time in 5 years.

I have a lot of things I want to say if Michigan wins..in the mean time I'm going to watch how things go in Maiu and start prepping chili recipes for Saturday.

i suppose so, though you left out the part about that being nearly the entire schedule. and i hate to go all jon and claim we're only two plays from being undefeated, but had borges not asked denard to turn his back on a blitzer during that 4th and 1 and we'd gone on to beat state, you'd have included them in that list of not very impressive victories. and considering borges spent most of the state and iowa games trying to grind out the i-form while pretending denard was joe montana (as if he didn't grow those dreads specifically to remind everyone of his skill set), perhaps we're going into the game as the ultimate paper tiger. point: both our two losses could have turned on just a play or two. blah blah blah, but that's in response to your entire paragraph of mitigating factors for five separate losses.

The throwbacks grew on me...I just don't like the numbers on the helmets. Especially in that font...match the numbers on the uniforms or don't do it all.

As for the game, I don't think they blew their wad last week...they'll still be geared up for this week. A 10-2 record with wins over Notre Dame, Nebraska and Ohio State would be a very respectable first season for Hoke...surpassed my prediction of 8 wins. You have to win this one...break the losing streak and you're at home against a down OSU squad. With Meyer coming in next year and Michigan loses a lot of seniors off this team...this is a golden opportunity to pop them.

guess we're opposites since i like the numbers on the helmet. the old school font is nice. the best i can say about the home throwbacks is they weren't as bad as i thought they'd be. there's nothing positive to say about the roads.

i assume urban meyer will have some hiccups transitioning into his particular version of the spread as well as navigating whatever sanctions osu gets slapped with, so there could be a couple of years where we have the upper hand even though i assume turnaround will be still pretty quick. then again, we're headed for an implosion on the offensive line, so ja, bail hay while the sun shines.
