very true. st. louis is equidistant between champagne and columbia. sportstalk stations in town, when they talk college athletics, are 70% Mizzou and 15%Saint Louis University a grudgingly 15% illini. and although I'm in an industry filled with illini grads (accounting) I've managed to isolate myself with mostly Mizzou folk*. if anyone in the 314 has KU attire, they are made aware of the displeasure of their continued processing of valued St. Louis oxygen.

my damned sister-in-law did her undergrad at KU and grad at KSU. brother-in-law was reverse with undergrad at KSU and grad at KU. Next time I see them I will fight them. in my family we are stupid and went same school with all my sibs doing grad and undergrad at Mizzou.




*mind you I went to see the mizzou victory over Oklahoma at a bar with Iowa allegiances last year.

it's about 50/50 here and it may be quite shallow of me, but I instantly dislike anyone wearing, displaying or otherwise pimping KU in any manner whatsoever.

and I'm sure the feeling is mutual.
