3-0 Georgia with 10:50 to go in 1st and Georgia with ball in LSU territory.

If Georgia wants to win this thing, they really can't afford to botch easy throws before dropping even easier TD catches. Those types of quick-score opportunities aren't going to come very often.
At least their guy made the FG, though.
Fucking Bama.

Should be 14-0 right now if Dawg wr's could catch a ball that hits them in the hands.

Cougar High agrees with you.
FYI that was a missed FG which would have made it 6-0 UGA.

Ugly tinfoil-hat thought...
The SEC doesn't want LSU to win this game. Why would they? LSU winning means LSU plays Bama in the title game, and that's it. LSU losing means the SEC still gets LSU and Bama in the title game, plus an unprecedented third BCS bowl game representive with Georgia in the Sugar.
Then again, Georgia just dropped another easy one that probably leads to a TD, then they missed the subsequent FG attempt. They could easily have 14 on the board right now, and it wasn't the LSU defense that prevented those scores. Georgia simply doesn't appear to be ready for primetime.

Another UGA dropped pass. These are some of the worst WRs I have ever seen.

And another drop...
No way these continual miscues aren't going to come back to haunt them. LSU is going to hit them with a big play somewhere here soon, the momentum will turn, and that will be that.

And now a whiff on an easy pick. Georgia just cannot make a play.

Matt Flynn was solid. Even JaMarcus was effective, considering he had all fucking day to find wide-open receivers.

Laugh all you want, but I'm firmly with Mel Kiper on this one. While watching the Bama-LSU game, it was clear to me that Bama was the stronger team. Not by any wide margin, mind you, but I still think their defense is that little bit better while Trent Richardson gives them a weapon LSU simply lacks in any facet of their offense.
If Bama can just keep the kicking game relatively even, I'm liking them to hoist the crystal ball.

Murray playing fearless back there
LSU throwing every blitz at him.
Van,
Saban and others have made the comment, that they played conservatively, and it came back to beat them. Tried to kick Fg's and win it with the defense.

And it would've worked had either of their kickers come through.

10-0. Should be 21-0. Georgia is dominating.

Hey, a Georgia receiver finally held on to a perfectly thrown ball.
10-0, Georgia.
The story of this game so far is the utter dominance of the Georgia O-line against LSU's front seven. That O-Line is making Aaron Murray look like Aaron Rodgers.

Of course you're not. You're going to the NCG even if you lose.

Has LSU even managed a first-down yet? We're already halfway through the second quarter.

If Georgia didn't have an SEC offense... they would be crushing this overrated LSU team.
Boise State would crush LSU if they played.

No.
But they can return punts well.

And there's the big play from LSU that you knew was coming soon. Now it gets ugly for Georgia, who will not be able to overcome those eleven points they left on the field in the first quarter. The LSU D is pinning back their ears, and here comes the inevitable Georgia collapse.

With the benefit of two blocks in the back.

Just like with Bama, QB play for LSU is the only way they lose.
Neither has a good QB, Jefferson is horrible.

Yet another drop by a Georgia receiver. They have Murray as 8-19 for a hundred-something yards, and he should easily be about 13-19 for well over two-hundred yards, including three TDs.

Goddammit, I hate those lucky-ass LSU lateral plays. Every damn year, it's Mickey Mouse crap like that, and they never seem to have to pay for them. I think that's why I just can never root for them. All those fake FG toss-backs, those stupid Mad Hatter calls, the way they always get every break imaginable whether it's in a given game or in the BCS....gah!
Fucking hate these guys.
