Alabama @ Mizzou
ok, I've not been all that excited about moving to the SEC but now that the schedule has been released I guess I'm kinda' sorta' looking forward to this date.
whattya' say Sam, road trip? Make your reservations early, I'm guessing there won't be a room available within a 50 mile radius of Columbia come gameday.

Just caught the take of John Soloman of the Birmingham News (the Birmingham News?! The fuck is that?!) on one of the local blowtorches...
Apparently, we're fucked next season. Oh, and 'bammer fans are sidewise 'cuz the SEC replaced Georgia with Mizzou for their cross-divisional next fall.
Friggin' babies. It's because of 'bama that we wound up in the East in the first place.
Mook did say that our league top-half quarterback would be just good enough to lead us to a bowl next year... In Memphis. Or Birmingham. Maybe Jacksonville if we're lucky.
Gonna be fun watchin' Mizzou prove these fuckers wrong.

Treat them like they're Texas? You mean lose to them nearly every time, usually in horrific fashion? Well then, good news! You probably will treat them like Texas.

No shit. That was ridiculous.
Question, though. How important is the LSU-Auburn rivalry to you? If you move to the East, either you or Bama loses LSU as an every-year game.

LSU was originally on Auburn's 6 year rotation and Tennessee was every year. Now it's the opposite.
Bama has always played LSU and Tenn every year.
Bama would prolly keep them every year.

BTW, Wags...
Did you notice that not only did the SEC saddle us with three straight roadies, they neglected to send anybody north to Columbia next November? Ninnies probably don't even own coats down south...

New Boy bitching about the schedule.
Be glad LSU plays night games, otherwise you drown in 200% humidity and the corn dog smell is the last thing you remember...

I did notice that Tru. I also notice late season OOC open dates to yet fill with the likes of Illinois State. As well, I've always wanted ATM to be our last regular season game, tons of traditionally rivalry there, eh?
Kinda' why I've been saying all along, be careful what you ask for. Looks to me like the noobs will be treated like red-headed stepchildren up in this bitch. At least for awhile.
Stranger in a Strange Land stuff, guess I need to learn how to grok this.
