Cal couldn't overcome Tedford, BAD Maynard and the 5 turnovers to 0 for Tejas.

Two strong defenses... with "shitty" qb's made for an SEC game. Cal just happens to have the worst qb in college football and it was too much to overcome.

When Maynard wasn't dropping shot gun snaps ( 3 for a loss of 45 yards ) he was trying his best to give Tejas even more turnovers and if it wasn't for Tejas dropping 3 easy picks... Cal would've had 8 turnovers in the game.

I can't think of single game in Cal history where they had 5 turnovers and won the game.


Each defenses held the other teams offenses to their lowest totals of the year. It's just too bad Cal has Maynard or this game would've had a different outcome.


Cal's Christmas present to Tejas... was Tedford and Maynard.

All those turnovers don't happen when he plays shitty defenses, they happen when the defense overruns your O-Line, forcing Maynard out of his comfort zone.

No, it wasn't. It was your O-Line getting thoroughly smoked.

This is why you and others look so stupid when you criticize the offenses in the Bama-LSU game. Those same offenses score at will against other defenses, yet they couldn't do anything against each other's defense...and you chalk it up to bad offenses.

Maynard and Cal are what they are: entirely mediocre. They get rolled by good teams while beating bad teams. They beat their shitty OOC opponents. Add it all up and you get 7-5 or 8-4 just about every year, because that's who they are.

Got to give Milton credit for at least showing up. In the past he would just disappear for weeks. This time he came in and managed one decent sentence in which he says the better team won.

Maybe in another 5 plus years we can expect him to up his take to remove the insults and come back with something along the lines of it really sux and hurts to lose to a team after putting so much anger and hate into the build up.



That said Milton, what did I tell you about revenge games vs Texas and Mack Brown? I told you not to bet against them, just go and ask Nebraska and aTm how that worked out for them. I would say they could add Cal to the list, but I don't think anyone within the program saw this as a revenge game.

So essentially if Cal had better players & coaches they'd have a better team and a better team produces better results. By god, I think toolio is on to something.

How in the hell Cal has the entire state of California to recruit from and comes up with no better than Maynard is baffling to me. That guy sucks beyond all sucking, more than Texas' two pieces of shit combined suck, and those guys SUCK OUT LOUD.
