Raiders Fire Hue Jackson
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/74471 ... n-one-year
"Since 2002, the Raiders have had six different head coaches and all have lasted fewer than three full seasons. Since the start of the 1996 season, the Raiders have had nine different head coaches, the most of any team over that span, according to the Elias Sports Bureau."

And he should have been fired.

What are you doing these days, mvscal? Got any spare free time?
If nothing else, at least you'd instill some much needed discipline in those colossal dumbfucks. Man, the halftime paint-peeling sessions speeches would be absolutely epic.

And that hasn't been tried before? Rich Gannon was a no shit red ass and he couldn't keep the Duhs from fucking themselves with stupid penalties.
Alvis always coddled his players and when Jackson went off on the players after the Chargers loss, I knew Al would have fired him the next day...and then sued him to recoup 'various monies' from the former coach for 'disparagements and false representations' against the greatness...of the Raidahs.

mvscal, one thing that likely hasn't been tried in an effort to curb the Raiders' lack of discipline is the one thing I'd expect you to implement within three hours of taking the gig: summary executions for those who jump offsides, commit stupid personal fouls, needlessly block in the back on punt returns that go for TDs, etc.
"Coach mvscal, we just got word that Rolando McClain went all ghetto thug back home in Alabama. Looks like he pulled a gun on some guy...."
"Send him to my office, please. Oh, and let our office manager know that she'll be needing to order up another batch of those 'next-of-kin notification' forms. We're about out."

I understand that teams fining players for penalties they commit is in violation of the CBA.
But what about testicle buzzers?
Hell, we've got electronic coach-to-quarterback communication gear.
Get some electronic jockstrap gear hooked up ---> and a coach mvscal-type on the Raider sideline can be ready to roll.

What I took away from the Hue Jackson firing - and the R. McKenzie/M. Davis press conference, is that Oakland is finally making a legit effort at rebuilding.
Not just the team, but the organization.
M. Davis has begun to bring the organization (kicking and screaming) ----> into the 1980's. lol
Will be some interesting days ahead for the Raiders, beginning with the next big move.
First head coach of the NEW ERA.

Old Reggie needs to find a damn barber shop. I know there probably are not many barbers around Green Bay that can hook a brutha up with a fresh one, but damn, I'm sure there has to be some in Oaktown. Nappy headed fool.

Actually I think, if "mvscal" was a coach, he would be Tom Coughlin.

Coach mvscal would be constantly constipated?

You can't spell colonel without colon.

A week ago, I would have guessed your next coach could be Joe Philbin, Green Bay's OC. Of course, they just pulled his 21-year-old son out of the Fox River over the weekend, so it may be a rather tough time for him to deal with such a move. On the other hand, the Philbins still have younger kids at home, and perhaps a change of scenery might be good for all of them. Hard to say.
Word is the players love Philbin. Packers are a really tight-knit team with no cliques. That has to come from the coaches. Now that I think about it, he's too good for the Raiders.
