Good to see the Ravens D bottling up Brady. I didn't give them much of a chance to win this game but they're right there.

With Pollard in the game there is also an excellent chance of a Pats player being maimed.

I think not growing a pair and going for it a time or 2 may come back to haunt the pats.
They better figure out how to play just a little pass defense as Brady is not up to simply out scoring them today.

This is getting good.
C'mon Ravens, please keep the media from deifying Brady for the next two weeks ad nauseum.

it's moot now, but, the call reversal on brady was bullshit.
he fell into the endzone with the ball. that's a td.
instant replays are starting to annoy me.

That 4th down play sums up why Flacco will never be called clutch.

Don't understand why don't at least try the kick there...down only 3, not 4 or more.

No, it wasn't.
Knee was down before the ball crossed the goal line, pretty simple overrule.

Unreal. Flacco is simply not clutch. The Ravens should have ended that game with a TD. Instead Cundiff will go down as Baltimore's Scott Norwood.

Agreed. I would've gone for it on 4th and 1.

bullshit.
flacco put the ball there. the fukking receiver needs to hold on to it.
it was an exciting game, but, kinda ugly.
i get the feeling the SB might be too, this year.

WTF are you babbling about? He drove his team down the field with the game on the line, put the ball right into his receiver's hands for the game winning TD catch, and dude fucking dropped it.

Boldin was a G in the final drive...had 3 or 4 straight grabs to get them down there. That drop in the end zone was so close to being a catch...dude had both feet down just as the ball got ripped out of there. They had a timeout left...don't see why they didn't try a draw with Rice back with Flacco in the gun on 3rd down.

Clutch guys finish those drives. Guys who are not clutch have people making excuses for them. Flacco will never be clutch.

So in that exact moment if Flacco hits a wide open WR in the end zone square in the hands, and he drops its, Flacco isn't clutch? I know that isn't exactly what happened but I'm curious how far you're willing to extend this shoddy logic of yours.

None of that shit happens if Flacco doesn't piss down his leg on 4th and 6. My point is that I'm not even remotely surprised that with the game on the line and a chance to go to the Super Bowl, the Ravens couldn't convert. Flacco has had two chances to get in the big game, and both times he got punked by teams led by truly clutch guys who have performed at an elite level on the biggest stages.
Would it make you feel better if I said Flacco is more clutch than Tony Romo?

Yeah, and the
loss doesn't happen if Flacco's WR hauls in that catch. We could play this game all day. Fact is, he was clutch when it mattered most...to no avail, as it's a team game.
Would it make you feel better if I said Flacco is more clutch than Tony Romo?
That's hardly fair, as I would trust a blind amputee to fly around the world before I would trust Romo to win a big game.

I guess it was flacco that bumbled the hold causing the "clutch" cundiff to snap hook that chip shot FG. Or was it some other dude?

dude had it knocked from his hands, wtf are YOU babbling about?
That was a great fucking pass though, right over the d-backs shoulder.
For anyone to put this loss on Flacco is ridiculous.

Epic KC retort, you fucking tard.
I am squarely laying blame at the feet (hands?) of the
real goat here. Evans had both hands on the ball and didn't secure it. I don't care if someone "knocked it out." A real receiver holds on to that. He dropped the ball, both figuratively and literally. Go fist yourself, bitch.

There's a big difference between flat dropping a ball and having it knocked from your grasp.

Whatever, dude. There's one thing I think we can all agree upon here.
Because Evans didn't make the play, Flacco is not clutch.

That's true.
I'm pretty sure, though, that if you asked receivers around the league what they thought of that play, they'd say that it's a ball that Evans needs to come down with.
He didn't get it
squeezed.
He didn't FINISH.

Not sure I'd call flacco's performance "money". It was good enough to win that game though. had he been "money" he would have hung at least 40 points on that patsie defense. I don't think I have ever seen that many receivers that open in one game before. Krist they suck.

Yeah, Sam. I'll go with that. Dude was plenty good enough and despite what certain interwebs colored commentators say, he was clutch when the game was on the line.
Speaking of the definition of clutch, I'd like to take one more swing at that logic pinata that has already been pretty well battered.
Was Brady "clutch" on Sunday? I mean, dude has one hand weighted down pretty well with jewelry supporting the argument he is clutch. He did win the game. I guess that means he is clutch despite the fact that he himself said after the game that he was teh suck.

Not perfect enough. Really? Lee Evans in tight coverage? When was the last time Lee Evans EVER caught a ball in tight coverage. Evans is the classic case of a guy who has made millions running the fuck out of the 9 route because he was faster than everybody else. Flacco should have known better.

Worst take ever.
I gotta think you're trolling now..
Flacco can only make his reads and throw the ball the players that the coaches put on the field at the given time. He made the right read and a great throw and an overrated WR that the Ravens traded for wasn't able to complete the catch.
