Humankind's State

Genesis 4:4-5
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Abel held the needed blood Covenant and found respect from God.
The Blood Covenant equates to simple belief in Jesus Christ today, which = God viewing one as Holy and blameless - Ephesians 1:4.

Cain on the other hand tried to find merit from God by an effort apart from the blood Covenant, which would equate to someone today trying to be seen as Holy and blameless by God by DOING something.
But apart from Christ, it's a fail, and they are already condemned - John 3:19.

As Genesis 4 continues on, we see how people of today are sadly on Cain's path of anguish and failure - and they have the same heart of murder that Cain had.
1 John 3:15.

Give it a look.

v.10 - resentment
v.11 - in curses
v.12 - labor in futility
v.13 - regret
v.14 - anxiety

The solution.
Also look.

Genesis 3:15
1 John 3:8
John 1:12

God should've done a better job in creating Cain.

Abel was a sheep-herder, Can was a farmer. Abel brought God a fat lamb from his flock as an offering. Cain brought some corn. God looked down on Cain’s offering. God is not a vegan.

Amen.

Not exactly sure what he said as my KJV is a little weak, but, I think there's a dinsdale closing time reset there somewhere.
