Hey Marty - good news!

Canadians who want to buy a share of Green Bay Packers stock will now get their chance.

The team said Monday it has cleared Canadian regulatory requirements and is now selling shares north of the border.

Each share costs $250. In the U.S., there's also a $25 handling fee. In Canada, the charge is $35.

The team had offered 280,000 shares for sale. It says it had 17,000 left as of Feb. 14, and the sale will end Feb. 29 unless the team sells out first.

The money is being used to fund stadium expansion.

The shares pay no dividends and have virtually no re-sale value. But they do come with a piece of paper declaring holders a team owner and conferring the right to attend the annual stockholder meeting.

The takeover is nearly complete.
You are practically all Canadians right now. We will assimilate you.

Upper messicans? :meds:

Being a U&R'er, you should know that the proper derogatory term is Canucks.

just showing a little solidarity with my left coast brothers. also, canuck is not regional. regional for a U&Rer is french canuck, twice as dumb as regular canuck with an even worse accent. but they sure the fukk can hang sheetrock, run a chainsaw and drink.

Tile work is dago territory in these parts. At least it used to be. Prolly Albanians or Bosnians now.
