I really think you might be shocked at just how many of the jarheads and career commandos are gay. Same with the KKK, the NRA, the hard core homophobic Christers, and the entire New GOP. But this shouldn't really affect your politics or basic marching orders. Consider that J. Edgar Hoover and Roy Cohn, two of the most right-wing corporate whores that ever strode the halls of power with with malicious and malignant impunity, were as gay as Liberace. So...who cares?
