Saw it yesterday. Interesting premise and a well made flick.

My daughter said the book was required reading at school last year. WTF? The book's only been out four years.

I think I see a long term marketing strategy here.

What does the publishing date have to do with anything?

It started out as a Scholastic Book, and four years later it's already a movie.

Since when did Scholastic books become required reading?

What does it matter who published it? Apparently it's a good book.

So good that teachers everywhere are making it required reading after just four years?

Those are all private/Catholic school board, or whatever you've got down there recommendations. Abraham Lincoln / Vampire Hunter for grade twelve sounds a bit weird. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Read Hunger Games and Catching Fire over the last couple of nights at work. HG was good, nothing special. But CF was 10x better. Great read. I'll be reading Mockingjay on my flight to Seattle Monday morning.

Can't wait to see the flick.

Watched it last night (knew nothing about it going in, not even the premise).

Very good movie.
