Eldrick led the field in total driving this week. If he can repeat that kind of performance on even a semi regular basis he'll keep on boat racing fields right past the Slammer and the Golden Bear. The only thing stopping him is injury.

Not only was the driving money, but the GIR was sick. He was picking out which blade of grass he wanted to carry to. And the flat iron was awesome, too (as was GMac's).

If the knees don't blow up again soon, yup -- lots of boat races and not being glued to the tube Sunday afternoons.

Bigtime shot across the PGA's bow was fired.

And there's another course he owns, much like Bayhill -- they play there in a couple of weeks.

To say the least his iron game is back where it was before the injuries. And even more important, he kept pouring it in from 10 foot and in when it looked like GMac might just be able to wytch out a win. What was he? 55 of 56 from inside 10? Just sick. This is about as complete a performance as we've seen from Tiger since 09 at Firestone.

Can't wait for Augusta.

monster win for woods and just incredible putting .....not as fast as those in georgia will be but pretty fast none the less.....

what he's been lacking is confidence, the physical talent was never lost....give that cat a glimmer of confidence and everyone else could be playing for second place come Sunday afternoon at Augusta

(A tradition unlike any other :meds:)
