Danny O’Brien from Maryland chose the Badgers. We are back in business.

Dude isn't exactly a game changer like Wilson was. He'll just have to do what Scott Tolzien did - hand the ball off, and be efficient in the play action game. In other words, not fuck things up. That could be an issue since the knock against him was he choked in big games at Maryland. But, Wisconsin did fill a huge hole, and O'Brien is still their best option at this point. You just wonder if the Rent-A-QB program is going to start scaring off future recruits.

If they had any recruits, the Rent-a-QB program wouldn't be necessary in the first place.

They have had recruits. Unfortunately the two QBs who should be a junior and a senior this year have had repeated injury problems, and neither is certain to ever see the field again. They have a four star QB from California coming in this fall. He should fit right in. He just had shoulder surgery.
O’Brien had an excellent freshman year in a pro-style offense. Then a new coach comes in and makes him run the spread. Now, he gets to run a pro-style offense again. The kid graduated in three years, so he’s certainly no smackaholic when it comes to smarts. The comparison to Tolzien works for me.

I think O'Brien is going to work out just fine in Madison. Kid got a raw fucking deal in College Park. Unless you play women's basketball or men's soccer there, the entire athletic department at Maryland is in complete shambles.
