Wow. I guess I would be pretty ornery too if I had to watch the NBA for a living, but this kind of emotional purse swinging on a televised broadcast is pretty pathetic. but +1 for the use of 'gobbeldygook' in an on-air meltdown.

Why did Eagle feel the need to do that on the air? The game was nearly over. Wait a few minutes and discuss it like professionals once the cameras are off.

Weak.

Yep, definitely weak, EEEE-an. Not EYE-an. Pronounce it right or pay the price.

Here's a nice meltdown by Jeff Van Gundy. No purse swinging involved, but a nice on-air melt nonetheless.

Love Van Gundy. Can you imagine how badly he'd lose his mind if he were ever to call a soccer match, what with all the pussified flopping those guys do?

Van Gundy is great. I would listen to more of his broadcasts if the NBA wasn't such a boring product.

He would turn into a homicidal maniac if he called a Wisconsin game.
