Just got some tix for Oct. 27 show here in KC

One of the wifes favorite bands - decent price for the tix $109 on stubhub

any of you ever seen 'em?
Ran into the bassist "Flea" at the Santa Monica pier back in the early 90's. He may be the only person shorter than TV0. If someone gave me free tickets to see them, I still wouldn't go. Very few bands are worth seeing live whether for free or for money.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

I'd go with free tickets. And if it didn't conflict with anything remotely important in my life. Like I wouldn't take a day off from work to make it happen.

Fist saw them on TV on "Night Flight" circa 1983 or so. They've come a long way since then errr----become a commercial success.

What a surprise it's a favorite of yours, it's easily one of their worst songs ever written and a slap in the face to anyone who actually enjoyed the band in their infancy. When they were actually writing groundbreaking shit and not just this radio-friendly, mailed-in garbage.

You couldn't pay me $100 to see a RHCP concert, even at 9:30.

Saw them about 1988 or so. They played butt naked on stage except for grass skirts. Not really my kind of tunes, but at that time in Austin me and my buddies would venture to see them and all types of cross over thrash type bands and even some weird funk cross over types to get our fill of slam dancing/ stage diving. Definitley would not pay that much money to see any band though.

I would go if the tickets were free. Might even pay 10 bucks, but over 100? no fukking way.

The only way i'm dropping 100 bucks is if i can get a time machine ride back to the 70s to see LZ.

I'd drop 500 for that, so long as the time machine ride was included.
