as many of you a-holes know, she graduated last month with a masters degree. Today she was hired by the first employer she interviewed with, a small juco in northern Missouri, two hours from home. She'll be the head softball coach and PE teacher.
36k a year, full benefits. Not bad for just starting out. Pretty soon, she'll be paying her own damn cell phone bill.

been telling her that for many years.
Her mom and I can take a little credit, but her determination is what made it happen.

Rack her for performing at a level that gets her on a payroll. May she enjoy good fortune as a coach and teacher.

I also think you should tell your daughter how proud you are. That is, if you can pull pull her apart from her bull dyke lover long enough. God, their vaginas must be stuck together like suction cups.

I must have missed that. I'd "say way to go", but I am fairly certain she should take most of the credit for that...
And I hope I can say the same thing one day...

Congrats Wags. A proud moment. Can I brag on my son here too? He finished school last August, at a California public school, no college debt $$, with a Bachelors degree and scored a job last March at a really good private company here in SD starting at $63,000. (Computer Engineer.) Your daugther might want to RUN from the teaching field unless she wants summers off.

RACK your daughter Wags. Mine is having her first job interview next week with a defense and security IT developer. I hope she does as well.
She doesn't know shit about IT or security. She's applying for a copy editing job. I guess she could learn about IT and security on the job.

trev, 36k in Missouri is like 50k in Cali but whatever, she's doing what she loves to do and that's coach. And she's damn good at it. She's been doing hitting lessons for several years now, people pay her for that and she has repeat customers.
She knows the game inside out. We watch Royals games together and critique every last damn thing... ah, what a pleasure to watch a baseball game with this girl.
Proud dad? You bet.

To have a job these days is success enough. Especially just out of college. She will never make big bucks teaching, but she is doing something she enjoys.

Congratulations, Wags.
Critique of Royals games, that's alot of work there, but try a Padre game, your head will spin. Hoping my little softball player, just finishing 10th grade HS, continues along a similar path of sports and academics as yours has. Good job old man.

Rack you, Wags for raising a good kid.
36K ain't a fortune, but, for flyover-ville in this economy, it ain't bad. Most importantly, she is getting paid to do something she loves, which puts her a step up on most people.
I would say lil' miss wags has the world by the balls, or in her case, piss flaps.

Wags you tend to pour your heart out here more than most and you take a decent ribbing for it but rack you for never being any different in your praise of your daughter. Sounds like you and the wife did a decent job. Now stand back and let her do the rest.
Bet get that fucking cell phone out of her hands when she drives.

Rack all the celebrity responses to Van's rather awkward statement.
My favorite was Clint.
I blame the pain meds. Must be some good shit.

Clint's was my favorite too. Oh, and as if I've ever required pain meds to make my sorts of statements.
