After outrage, Team USA uniforms will be made in America
...six Democratic senators said they plan to introduce legislation requiring the ceremonial uniforms be produced in the United States.
The senators said they will introduce the "Team USA Made In America Act of 2012" next week.
"I call on the USOC (U.S. Olympic Committee) to do the right thing for this summer's team, and I call on my colleagues to help pass this bill to ensure we don't find ourselves in this appalling, embarrassing situation before the opening of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics," Menendez said.

THANK GOD!! HOLY FUCK! We are saved at last.
I know the Senate Democrats haven't passed a budget in over three years, but I see now that they were focused on truly important issues such as Olympic uniforms and what Roger Clemens knew and when he knew it.
Outfuckingstanding...

If you had even a clue about human anatomy you'd know that it's impossible for a sphincter to go through anything.
On the other hand a large mass, similar in consistency and function to your brain, has been through my sphincter this morning. Which is a primary reason why I'm in a (relatively) good mood.

More idiocy from our cymbal clacking affirmative action monkey in chief:
'If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen.'
As if the most embarassingly stupid, fuckwitted halfbreed ever to disgrace the White House would know fuck all about starting a business.

Somebody else made that happen??
Oh sure.
The heavy business (and personal) taxes Mr. Businessman had to pay didn't go toward the roads, bridges, etc. that he used to help their business succeed?
Barry's act right there is nothing less than a
total embarrassment.
That being the case, I expect Foolix and his trusty kneepads to show up in here any minute now.

So...just forget about it? Well the missing billions are still missing, the medal of freedom is still hanging disgracefully on his chest, and the American military machine is still deployed in that ruined nation--which is now the best friend of Iran. Nice job Bremmy!
Lost on you of course is the central and principal role Bremer played as faux Viceroy, and that was lining up and nailing down unfettered corporate control of Iraq's resources and production. And all of this is still ongoing.
Sure, let's just forget everything of the Chimp era--that would be nice. But the nightmare isn't over yet.

The money was spent. Yes his accounting controls were borderline criminally negligent, but you could say that about every agency in the Federal government. There was; however, no evidence of any personal corruption.
Lost on you of course is the central and principal role Bremer played as faux Viceroy,
Not in the least. He got the ball rolling towards a constitutional form of government in a primitive wasteland with a population that had been whipped and abused for decades. That is no simple task which is a fact that seems to be lost on you.

What, Hannity already gave you your official Iraq report? A "primitive wasteland"? Really? You mean the nation with the highest education level, most rights for women, and richest by far? Sure, the ten years of punitive sanctions had hobbled Iraq, though it was still thriving. As for its destruction by the American invasion, this is undisputed and ongoing. What you're robustly oblivious about--and really proud of--is the fact I mentioned--that of American corporations getting their hooks in long-term on major Iraqi industries and agrarian production. you know, with exclusive contracts that they were forced to agree on. As for the missing billions being "spent," well no, they were not spent at all--that's what "missing" means. The defense department 's story has not changed--they cannot account for $6.6 Billion, period. Sure, it was eight long years ago, but the crime and mendacity continues to this day.

Also, I loved how he conveniently forgot to include "...at least compared to their backwards-ass Islamic neighbors" when he posted this...

Not only had Iraq developed the best economy in the region, but the best health care, education, women's rights, and general safety. Sure, Saddam was a brutal dictator, but the first object of his repression was the Shiite model of primitive Sharia law. This is why the women in Iraq were educated and not all wearing table cloths, for starters. Indeed the Kurds did not share in this (and still don't)--but this is entirely the fault of the British in ignoring the sound advice of T.E. Lawrence in 1919

Your tedious squirming is duly noted. I haven't been to the moon, but a lot of experts have--and their experience is now ours. The invasion and destruction of iraq was an unspeakable war crime based on lies--and carried out on behalf of the rabid race-state experiment in the region. And you are really disgusting.

Iraq was a shithole long before we showed up to bounce the rubble. On its best day it couldn't hold a candle to Dubai or the other Gulf Coast Emirates. Hell, even Kuwait blows Iraq away.

It looks a hell of a lot better than Detroit or Baltimore or Chicago. Of course the point is that we've destroyed Iraq and murdered a million civilians in the process. Of course the point is that we've destroyed Iraq and murdered a million civilians in the process.
No, Iraq is not destroyed and, as usual, your "estimate" of Iraqi deaths is so wildly exaggerated as to be completely ridiculous. If you're just going to make up numbers, why not go for the gusto? Maybe it's ten million or even twenty million? Hell, we probably killed eleventy billion Iraqis.
The point is that you are a complete idiot/liar. You don't even have the slightest idea of what it would take to kill a million people.
The whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks today released a trove of classified reports that it said documented at least 109,000 deaths in the Iraq war, more than the United States previously has acknowledged, as well as what it described as cases of torture and other abuses by Iraqi and coalition forces.
"The reports detail 109,032 deaths in Iraq, comprised of 66,081 'civilians'; 23,984 'enemy' (those labeled as insurgents);
