Wondering if Cal has adjusted to the time change yet seeing as they have probably been in Columbus for what 2 months?

Kal players should feel right at home Saturday, as the architectural design of Ohio Stadium is quite similar to that of their own.
Minus the fact that there are currently no trees growing in C-deck.

How am I even supposed to pick this game? Ohio St giving a bunch of points at home always fucks me. Cal playing outside of the Pacific timezone, umm, anywhere on the road, also always fucks me, regardless of where they play.
I have no chance here. The only way this one could be worse is if they somehow figure out a way to have Penn St supplant Ohio St as a huge home favorite during the halftime break.

Yes, but not you specifically. The thought process is usually a national TV game that isn't quite as straightforward as it might seem.

Looks like they should be there in just over 30 minutes.
Left the West Coast at 11am and should arrive just before 7pm.

I thought you selected the Pick game based on getting two nationally-ranked teams if possible. That's why I figured the Pick game would be either ND-Sparty or USC-Stanford (Alabama-Arkansas was also a possibility until Louisiana-Monroe spoiled it).
When I saw it was Cal-Ohio State, I thought it was based on the running joke on this board.

Of course, there are reasons to hate tOSU independent of this board.
OTOH, I couldn't see myself hating Cal (or for that matter, even realizing that they have a football program) if m2oodles didn't post here.

No, I don't just pick the two highest rated teams that are playing on TV. Games that I perceive to be harder to pick and that also have board intrest will be picked ahead of two ranked teams.

True, 88 is the mastermind of the operation.
He just has a consigliere or two to help him get through wartime situations. :)

It's comforting to know that Left Seater is not

At the extreme risk of sounding a tad mtoolish, why don't the officials just come out in the 2nd half wearing Buckeye gear?

A couple bad calls there, but Cal is a dumpster fire. Still ended up getting a 1st down in the red zone after the face mask and wound up missing the FG by 50 yards.

unbelievable
Proud of my Bears playing 11 against 12.
Can't afford to have a TD taken off the board for no reason and mystery penalties taking you from 1st and goal to out of field goal range and expect to win on the road.
Not to mention all the other mystery penalties that have helped OSU sustain drives and kill drives for Cal.
This is gonna be a long day.

When Maynard can stay upright, he's completing passes...he didn't have that bad a first half. Miller is right up there with Robinson as far best big playmaking QBs in the Big Ten. He continues to impress. In the trenches, the Buckeyes are just the tougher team.

herbstreit spends half of every interview touting his objectivity. spielman spends his interviews being objective. don't think many people give a shit who you root for in your spare time as long as you call stupid stupid.
