I'm here to watch a GPS IIF satellite get launched tomorrow. They'll be using a ULA developed Delta IV launch vehicle that is barely capable enough to launch Spray into outer space. We took a tour of Kennedy Space Center and Cape AFS today and saw a bunch of the giant fucking rockets they are developing. Cool shit. My hotel is on Cocoa fucking Beach, so I'm going to go wander for a while and show off my giant erection, although from my beach view hotel room, beach is looking empty.
Maybe I'll do a PET. Or not. Either way, do what Tennessee frat boys do and (almost) die of alcohol enemas.

The blast was pretty cool. The night before we saw them move back the "building" or whatever the call the rocket's housing on the launch pad. Wednesday, they took us to the top of one of the rockets they were building. Beautiful view of the ocean and the Cape. We also took a tour of the shuttle Atlantis this morning. It was the real thing, it's a museum now.
The Cape was pretty cool when it come to military bases. Obviously monumentally historic and it beats the living shit out of touring an army depot in Anniston, Ala.

We were too far away for them to be good. The ULA and ATK (they make the boosters) flaks said they'd send me some professional photos, so I didn't use my point and click. Also, the gov't doesn't like people talking photos of the rockets they are making. It's not like going up to random broads at gas stations and asking them to pose.
