actually a pretty good read from Whitlock but as usual, only half right... kinda' like a kcdave take.
I don't think many fans were cheering that Cassel got hurt, but instead that Quinn was warming up to come in the game, as if he could do any worse. Cassel should not have been replaced because he was hurt, but because he's an ineffective QB. The fact it had to come to that is the abomination.
As for Eric Winston - for the small % of fans that were cheering that Cassel got hurt, he was spot on and I applaud his having the guts to come forth and say what he said. That's a guy I want on my team.
back to Cassel, I've never questioned his heart or desire, just his ability.
