Racking up the drunk driving charges.

PHOENIX — Former Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman and television analyst Mark Grace has been indicted in a DUI case and could face nearly four years in prison if he’s convicted, authorities said Thursday.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said a grand jury indicted Grace on Oct. 3 on four felony counts of aggravated driving or actual physical control while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.

Authorities said Grace faces between one and 3.75 years in prison on each count, but the sentences would likely be imposed concurrently if he’s convicted because they relate to one incident.

Grace, 48, could face less time if he pleads guilty to reduced charges, according to authorities who said he’s not probation eligible because it was his second DUI charge in a 15-month span.

A call to Grace’s attorney, Larry Kazan, for comment wasn’t immediately returned Thursday afternoon.

Grace was arrested Aug. 23 by Scottsdale police who said his blood-alcohol level was .095 percent, above the state’s legal limit of .08.

Police said Grace also was allegedly driving on a suspended license and didn’t have the required interlock device installed in his vehicle stemming from a May 2011 DUI charge.

Grace took a leave of absence after his second arrest and the Diamondbacks recently replaced him in the broadcast booth after nine seasons.

He played 16 years in the majors with the Chicago Cubs and Diamondbacks and was a member of Arizona’s 2001 World Series championship team

Should have stuck with hitting slumpbusters.

Dude like Grace and Leyritz choose to be repeat DUI-ers because they can pay it off and think they'll get away with it. Driving without an Interlock device? "I'm Mark Grace" still holds a lot of weight.

Piece of shit.

Wasn't Carlton Fisk just found passed out behind the wheel in the middle of a corn field with an empty bottle of liquor in his ride? Not a good week for HOF baseball players.

That's not as lenient as it sounds.

Must be he is personna non grata on a certain sport's talk radio and TV show. I wasn't aware of his first infraction.

I find it interesting the headline of the article refers to him as an ex-Cub, but the paper is the Chicago Sun-Times and the Cub reference in the story isn't until the last paragraph.

Maybe it's just a matter of different perceptions based on different ages, but to me, Carlton Fisk will always be a member of the Red Sox:

Thinking of Fisk as a member of the White Sox is, to me, somewhat akin to thinking of Gracie as a Diamondback.
