If true, the families of those killed will be getting much of our tax dollars.
I just don't get it. Obama has been running around for months touting how "he" got Osama. Basically spiking the ball in the face of the Muslim world, to use a football analogy. However in this case he refuses to use available assets to defend Americans under direct attack?
Something doesn't add up. Either he was totally mislead and heads in his administration need to roll. Or he or someone passing him info held off using every resource available in an attempt to pin this death on the shoulders of "right wing" film makers who caused a riot.

Bush dropped the ball on 9-11-1 and THOUSANDS of people died. Get indignant about that and then get back to me about 9-11-12.

A. Bush wasn't in any position to stop the attack and save any lives.
B. There wasn't any specific intelligence or circumstances indicating an attack was imminent.
C. He didn't attempt to cover anything up with a pack of flimsy lies.
D. He isn't running for office.
E. You are a brainless, gutless, leg humping twat.

Good point, Shorty. Remember how Bush went around for weeks blaming a video for the terrorist attack between campaign stops and late-night talk show appearances?

No shit. You would think his handlers would have seen this as the political opportunity they could have made it. They should have been screaming, " Bomb the bastards" The fact that the security officer knew there were available offensive assets that close and he had it painted, tells me he was expecting some reinforcement sooner rather than later. Of course an offensive action against a Muslim population is not what Barry Bongo wants to do.
With one word, "ENGAGE", Obongo could have brought the hammer down on the ragheads, wasted them, eliminated a threat, and hopefully saved some lives. He could have them trumpeted that to the world about what a bad ass mother fucker he was ordering the military to do what they are supposed to do.
Outside of the fact if they had Marines there, shit would have went down a lot different.

AC-130U Gunship was On-Scene in Benghazi, Obama Admin Refused to Let It Fire
The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

Initial reports indicated an angry mob hurling molotovs through windows in the embassy. Fire started...ambassador succumbed to smoke inhalation en route to the hospital.
Now, it's turned into the second siege of Khe Sahn...

So what part of not having suitable assets in place to prevent this action from happening in the first place don't you understand. That is where the huge FAIL is.

We know what happened. There are survivors. There is video footage from the compound. There is drone footage which was transmitted to Washington in real time.
The fire was set with the fuel stored by the generator not molotov cocktails. There was no angry mob at all at any point in time for any reason. Get it through your thick fucking skull and fuck off, moron.

Assets as in Marine Detachments, State Department officers, or any other of the numerous Federal forces that SHOULD have been posted where you have American diplomatic officials in a potentially dangerous situation ?

Okay Derron, let's try this:
You just ass-raped Libya, inadvertently releasing much of Gaddafi's heavy weapons to fall in to the hands of street thugs (most of whom blame America for their shitty condition) and now you want to concentrate American security forces in a perimeter around the embassy?
Lebanon. 1983.

As one of three nations carrying out the bulk of the sometimes-controversial air war, Canada with its aging CF-18 fighters has made a contribution clearly disproportionate to the compact size of its air force, say alliance and academic sources.

The Arab Street sees NATO as the enforcement wing of (primarily) American foreign policy. That doesn't excuse Canada from being guilty of war crimes themselves.
Plus, there's probably a Tim Horton's at the Canadian embassy. Arabs may be angry, but they're not insane.

remember all those stories about stevens being dragged through the streets?
seems that it was total fucking bullshit, especially given that a video shot by someone on the scene when Stevens was found indicated the people that hannity purports were dragging him around the streets were in fact the people that were loading Stevens into a car and took him to the hospital....

Why? Generators are commonplace there. It seemed like more of an opportunistic action than part of the plan. They couldn't get into the safe room, so they fired it.
...that bit about someone getting stabbed in the bum was a shock.
That has never been confirmed and is most likely bullshit. The origin of the story was some fishwrap in Lebanon.

I never made any such claims, asswipe.
I'm just one of those people that like to know the facts before I start accusing someone of dereliction of responsibility....
And I was providing them to you. Let's review the facts now, shall we?
1. There were numerous attacks on the consulate itself and in the area. Security was deemed so bad that the Brits and several NGOs pulled out of Benghazi.
2. Numerous requests for additional security were made prior to the attack and were denied.
3. Real time intelligence was being provided to Washington within the hour of the first gunfire.
4. Available reinforcements were told to stand down during the attack itself. This includes those at the CIA annex a mile away (they eventually disobeyed orders to rescue those trapped at the consulate) and SOCOM units based in Sicily which could have been on station in about two hours and broken up the attack in about two seconds.
5. After the fact, a deliberate lie about video protests was promulgated at the highest levels of government and repeated by the President, the Secretary of State and UN Ambassador to name a few.
Four more years of this shit? I don't fucking think so.
