Not a great day for the Ducks, other than the W

Didn't get to see many games live yesterday, but saw all the scores. Sucks for the Ducks that both ND won and USC lost again. On top of that Oregon State lost too.
If ND finishes undefeated there is no way they don't play Bama for the title. But even if ND loses Oregon still has to worry about KSU. That one likely comes down to the computers and the PAC 12 is doing everything they can to screw the Ducks. Two more losses for USC are likely before a conference title game. Who ever it is that plays Oregon in that conf championship game is likely to have three conf losses. Again hurting the Ducks, while KSU will get to kick Texas' ass up and down the field the same day.

ND's last regular season game could change all that.

At the very least, it will reinforce the "mythical" part of the national champion title....and, for the umpteenth time expose the farce that is college football post season. It would be interesting to see Organ finish undefeated and
still not play the # 1 (ranked) team.
With 4 undefeateds left (OSU omitted intentionally), it could shake out prior to the end of the season and with the +1, might be okay. 'Bama seems to have had the easiest run through the schedule, followed by Organ. KSU/ND have played some actual teams. 'Bama should pay for having Western Carolina on their second to last regular season game.

How is that Mikey? An ND loss to USC pushes KSU behind Oregon how?

It certainly pushes ND out of the title game.

Ok, sure. But that doesn't help with the KSU problem.

Is that when they would finally have their "meltdown"?

Answer the question.

No, I don't think OU is the same as Oregon. But Oregon struggles with teams that have a strong front 7.
I would put ND's front 7 on par with anyone's in the country, so I think it would be a close game.

Per the NCAA, that is good enough to determine a MNC.
