In a perfect world, a 1-loss Georgia team knocks off Alabammer in the SEC title game, and KSU, ND and Oregon all finish undefeated. I want to hear the logic behind why the SEC title-winner belongs in the NCG.

Goobs, which two teams from among that hypothetical trio of undefeateds do you think would receive the invitation to the big dance?

Remember the LSU/Bama game last year? Yeah, well multiply that X 10 and that's how bad it will be Saturday night. LSU may score, but it will surprise me quite a bit. I see a 42-0 or 42-3 score. Something like that. This team has gotten worse as the season goes along. We barely beat Auburn for crying out loud. Towson gave us a run for our money. While it's true that we usually play up to the level of our competition, this isn't one of those times.

It'll be interesting to see how LSU wins without scoring any points.... :?

Did you miss my prediction?

Dead serious. If they play any better than that, I'll be shocked.

Home game... night game...
I'm guessing LSU is going to bring their A game. They're not going to roll over and play dead -- not their style, not in this game.
I don't think their A game is going to be enough, bit I think we'll see it.
The 10.5 in the Pick Em is pretty brutal.

And Dins goes out on a limb with his very detailed prediction.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping you'd let that slide.
I think LSU is going to come out like a pack of crazed dogs, and hang for a while. Then with their lack of offense, the D will spend too much time on the field, and since Bama has a superior Old Man offense, they're going to get too many cracks at it and will start finding the end zone, particularly in the second half.
But I'm still not sold on that prediction. But it sure sounds reasonable for a friday afternoon.
Why don't we go ahead and play the game, and see how she goes.

OK, I'll play.
Bama starts the game with a very impressive TD drive, pretty much doing whatever they want. LSU goes 3 and out. Bama drives for a FG. LSU goes 3 and out. Bama drives for another TD. At this point, LSU's offense is looking exactly like it has the entire season...out of sync and unable to put anything together. Mett probably throws an interception that's returned for a tuddy and the ball game is pretty much already over. 27-0 or so at the half and it gets worse from there. Bama covers the spread, plus the spread from last year's game, plus the spread from next year.
Chip starts having severe stomach pains, rushes to the hospital and runs over a dog in the process.

Might as well RACK this one too, while I'm handing them out.
