I missed them when they came to...where else? How could you not love Analog Kid? Anything from Signals and Grace Under Pressure is epic Rush.

You know what they say, Spray. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Wish I could have seen Rush this year. Why can't they just play the Verizon Center?

They already did, but I passed because it was out in BFE VA where Smackie hangs out. It's a 10 min Metro ride downtown to the Verizon Center, so I'd pay the steep price because I don't have to rent a car and drive over an hour out to the venue, etc.

I noticed you guys got Limelight in your set...we didn't nor did we get Dreamline we got the Manhattan Project (which is a GREAT SONG)...of course one of my faves Red Sector was played...so taht was a plus...

if they could have broken up the Clockwork stuff that would have been awesome...they lost the crowd in charlotte for sure...but again when you are as good as these guys are...you do what you want...

Sound in Charlotte was spot on (it was indoors though)...and yes Peart is a fucking inhuman beast behind the kit...

I mean I am more of the classical RUSH guy...I want to hear

Cygnus X-1
Natural Science
Bastille Day
By Tor
Lakeside Park

etc...I know it's a pipe dream to hear some of these in concert...but 9 songs off your new album a little much for my taste...

but again they killed it and I will keep seeing them until they stop...

oh yeah...I enjoy seeing them time and time again...I thought playing Moving PIctures in it's entirety was BRILLIANT...

now if they would come out and play Exit Stage Left in it's entirety I would be the happiest guy around...

I agree they love to play...Geddy and Alex have that chemistry and Neil well he just sits STONE FACED and cranks out massive beats, rhythms, etc...you know some of my buddies don't "get" RUSH and I am like yeah that's cool...but these guys have such layered stuff with MULTIPLE time signature changes in many songs and just the themes, etc...

I'm surprised they didn't play Natural Science. Thought that song was pretty much a live staple. I've seen them play it before, and it's awesome. Bastille Day would be great, but I don't think Geddy can hit those notes anymore.

Would love to hear him try and pull off "Circumstances" today.

Nice write-up, Spray. 80s era Rush is my favorite, but I can see how you classic rock guys wouldn't care for it. Did they play Between The Wheels? That is their best live song, imo. The crescendo that song reaches is just incredible, and I will always be a sucker for synths.

Don't care for Clockwork Angels. Unimaginative and commercial sounding.
