Amazingly enough, they look older than you.

And well they should. You would be proud to mop up their jizz, though.

I don't even know who they are.

Guy on the guitar is Jorma Kaukonen, lead guitar for the original Jefferson Airplane, and later one of the founders of Hot Tuna.

Guy on the mandolin is Barry Mitterhoff.

Both are extremely talented, bot do quite a bit of teaching as well.

More Jorma:

Then you shouldn't even be in this forum.
No shit.

I couldn't believe I read that.

Music can be about more than planting your Depends cushioned ass is some creaky rocking chair and listening to some dust-farting fossil strum away on a worm-eaten antique.

RACK Screwey
FUCK the rest of you

Here’s another dust-farting fossil I’m going to see in March at the Stoughton Opera House:

It is an incredible venue. The restoration they did (all by volunteers) is nothing short of spectacular. Unfortunately, they kept the authentic wooden seats.

Really? You couldn't believe you read that? Yeah, I'm sure you know a wealth of early 30-somethings whose Ipods are crammed with Jorma Kaukonen and Barry Mitterhoff. :meds:

And no, I'm not knocking them.

I enjoy bluegrass. It's American music.

Nice. I saw them a couple of months ago in San Diego with Jack Casady. An excellent show.

Last time I saw Jorma, Jack was with him. I read on Jorma's blog that Casady's wife passed away quite recently. Probably why he's not touring right now.

He has a gig scheduled out here in a couple of months that's listed as a solo. I'll probably be getting some tix for that one too.

His show here was listed as a solo. You'll probably have Barry Mitterhoff there as well. He's awfully good with that tiny little guitar he plays.
