Right now if i'm a prospective coach,do I really want this job? In one year loo what obe has done to this one proud franchise. They are now looking up at the Clippers! and now Lamar Odom is out the door. Mitch Cupcake needs to go,Jerry West handed him a goldmine,and sold it all for rocks. And now there is talk of trading Kobe? Who in the hell is going to pic up that contract,and take that headcase?? Its fucking sad to see the Lakers like this,it really is. Trading Shaq was inevitable,but at least get something good for him! Like Miamis first rounder for the next 3 years,and Caron Butler.

Not really. The Lakers will be the Niners of the NBA, except for the part where the Niners will win the NFC West next year.

Bottom line is that like Vince was given and did in Toronto, Kobe was handed the same and done in LA.
They were given waay too much say in how the team should be managed.

Players play, not manage or coach.
