aTm is up 14-0 and gettin' it done with relative ease against the 'Bama defense. I know it's early in the game but, so far, it appears that 'Bama is not nearly as good as last season and, should they survive this game and the remaining regular season, they would struggle with Oregon's speed. This is my first look at the Tide this season and, sorry Sam, but they're less than impressive. We might well see an Oregon-KSU championship game.

I thought the spread offense didn't work against Bama/the SEC?

I fully expect the NCAA to out law the spread based on Nick's bitching...

20-14 at halftime, so I'd say 'Bama will likely come back and win the game. They have to control the ball, run clock, and keep Johnny Football on the sideline. Same thing they'll have to do to beat Oregon, if they can.

While Urban Meyer was at ESPN he admitted to the country that Florida would not have beaten Oklahoma in 2008 if they had not had 5 weeks to prepare. You just described yourself . . . and I said coming into this season I expected three losses and we were overrated. It's looking like we will have fewer regular season losses than I expected. I undervalued our team this season and certainly didn't see it as the best.
