Tubby can't remember that #1 and #2 both lost in consecutive weeks that year but he has instant recall of what flavor sauce he had on his chicken wings both weekends.

Definitely not 2004, since #1 USC ran the table that year. #2 OU did the same, at least until the title game. I don't think it happened in 2002 either, since that was the year a juggernaut Miami team ran the table as the defending national champs before losing in the title game to Ohio St.
