Pre-Thanksgiving Metal Show

So yeah Wednesday night here in Charlotte I went to see

Sylosis, HELLYEAH, In Flames and Lamb of God...FUCKING AWESOME show...saw it at the Fillmore Charlotte and a great venue...I stood side stage where some of the folks would come out so I could get a better view of the drummers...watching a show from this angle is awesome...

Sylosis - not bad...short set...never heard of them prior to the show...but will definitely have to check out some of their stuff...

HELLYEAH - Has 2 members from Mudvayne (who I dig) and one of my drumming idols VINNIE FUCKING PAUL...great show and energy and watching Vinnie from the side stage was freaking awesome.

In Flames - Swedish melodic metal...not a huge fan, but pretty deece...

LOG - the reason I went...these guys just flat out BEASTED...yeah I know many in here don't like them...but these guys are pretty fucking awesome muscians and the highlight for me was watching Chris Adler from the side stage view and standing not 2 feet from Vinnie while he watched the show...seeing Randy back on stage was awesome and the new material is just as hard and heavy as ever...

Rumors are that LOG will be on Mayhem 2013...count me as an attendee for sure...
