I thank my maternal Grandfather for the gene or combination thereof that gives me my full head of hair. Was once "dirty blond" now white. I want to go like he did at age 86, getting up in the morning, sitting in his easy chair with a cup of coffee and reading the morning paper-- OUT.

For someone within spitting distance of 50, I have remarkably few gray hairs, btu, I think that is because the ones that would have been grey all jumped ship in the mid nineties. Not sure when my beard went gray. It was dark brown the last time I grew it out, now it's whiter than smackie's head. I could make a respectable santa claus.

I checked the official Wizards grooming regulations handbook and the answer no. Wizards must have either the really long white hair dealio you mentioned or be clean shaven with at least 9 earings.
