Interesting take with which I agree. 50 years is enough for sure. Your opinions are requested.

I think they look pretty pathetic trying to play the rock and roller at their ages but I guess they're still making pretty good bank.

They should've quit after Some Girls and if there's ever been a more annoying, overplayed song than Start Me Up, I want to know what it is.

Are people still forking over fuckloads of dollars to see their decrepit carcasses play?

Keep on keeping on if so.

I agree with R-Jack. If folks are still willing to pay, and the band is still willing to play, why should anyone care?

Sounds like your average NBA game soundtrack.

I'm sure they'd all do better by focusing on their solo careers.

As spray said, hang it up after some girls and they go down as the greatest R&R band ever, but, it's too late for that now.

As for them being in it for the $$$$$, I dunno. I realize that they've become accustomed to rather nice lifestyles, but, you'd think they'd still have enough money to keep their great grand kids in all the heroin they want.

It might be a sign of the coming Apocalypse, but I'm going to have to agree with Let's Tard.

Not a fair comparison. Each of the members of Cream was, and is, an outstanding musician. Nice link.

Not for the media it isn't too late. They'll hype those geriatric heroin addicts until Kieth and Mick are dead.

That could be a pretty long wait. If personally accounting for roughly half of the worlds total substance abuse during the 70s didn't kill keef, I doubt father time can.

Keith has been dead for several years, but Mick never told him.

That's exactly what I thought.

I may have to re-think my position, then.

That performance was as limp as Marky Mark at the end of Boogie Nights.

This thread is taking a creepy, Led Zeppelin turn. Not that a geriatric old junkie couldn't push Robert Plant and his clapping fags off a loading dock:

What's wrong w the Stones being aged and forging on? Nobody gave their predecessors, whom they emulated, shit about playing until their dying breath. Or at least until they could no longer physically take the stage. Muddy Waters, Son House, John Lee Hooker, Howlin Wolf, Willie Dixon, etc. The Stones still sound as good as they ever did.

Bullshit. They were fading when they were touring for "Steel Wheels" back in 1989-90.

I think the sound Kid is referring to is cha-ching.
