Stoops going to the SEC

Yep.....Mark Stoops who, imo, will likely turn out to be the best HC of the three brothers. He'll have his work cut out for himself at Kentucky but it's a great opportunity to prove himself. It could be a good proving ground to prepare his return to Iowa when Kirk Ferentz hangs it up. Time will tell.

If he can just get them to look past basketball a little, he might have a shot at doing well.

That probably won't happen but he'll have to recruit his ass off and then get them to actually watch and enjoy football and have them anticipating a bowl game while waiting for basketball season to begin. Hopefully, in time, he'll add yet another team to feel the love of that SEC bias. :) He's a good kid/man, a good young coach, and I wish him the best.

At the very least, Kentucky will learn how to play defense.
