When you can't see the tree, it ceases to be a treehouse and becomes just an oversized and unsafe shithole of a shack. Props to the unsuspecting Darwinists that want the state to allow them to climb into a 100 ft collection of popsicle sticks with no foundation.

smackaholic, 'gub'mint' pretty much is the most annoyingly cloying word seen on this board, especially when it's overused like crazy.

Dude must have a great connection for buying used pallets. Why they waste perfectly good lumber to make pallets is beyond me.

Must be some kind of gub'mint thing.

No kidding...some of those pallets are constructed of oak. I know their are different grades of oak but, go to the lumber yard and check the price of oak lumber. Pricey, yet they construct pallets out of it

i wonder the same thing.m sometimes it's even perfectly clear. must be a case of someone just having a little something left over and they sell it to pallet makers with the rest of their scrap.

Of course pallets are made of oak (and other assorted hardwoods). You think they should be made from balsa?

They are generally made from cheap shitty wood not much good for other things, not hardwoods. Usually various types of pine.

As usual, you are full of shit. Pallets are generally made from hardwood. Pine wouldn't stand up to the abuse a pallet gets. Ask Whitey. He drives a forklift.

Hardwood, softwood, paper, plastic, steel and aluminum are all used in pallets, depending on their use.
