Not sure that you can pin that on Richt (unless I missed something). UGA’s QB shoulda spiked it, of course at the 10 or so. Don’t know that Richt could have been heard screaming the same, as I would presume he was. Spike it and get two clean plays off.

I doubt Murray had license there to do whatever he wanted. They call plays from the sideline via signals, so Murray doesn't have to "hear" anything. He just had to look toward the sideline to see the call as he was running up to the line of scrimmage.

Nevertheless, yeah, should have gotten two or three shots at the end zone there. They screwed the pooch big time.

as for that SEC game today, it was a heavy weight knock down drag out brawl from start to finish. It was like watching Frazier vs. Ali in their prime.

i can see the logic, Sumlin isn't surprising anyone on a one-week-to-prepare basis like maybe in the SEC this inaugural season...and the XII has a sackful of pretty good not great teams while this year's model SEC is top/bottom heavy (heck, Vandy won 8!)...but ATM DOES still have the W in Tuscaloosa. that's a big win. not being contentious and i'm not an Aggie fan *at all* but props to them on this season.

No doubt huge props to aTm for the inaugural season and for the win at 'Bama.

aTm struggled against teams that spread the field and threw. Something Big XII teams were very good at. Now granted aTm would score tons themselves in the Big XII, but most games would have looked like the LA Tech game.
