Sick run by Martinez...smells like a shootout in a half-empty Lucas Oil.

Hardly the first "L" they've racked up this season.

Missed FG... only thing going for the Huskers. Hard to play BTPCF when you're face down and ass up.

Wisconsin hasn't beaten a good team all year....and that will remain true after tonight. The B1G is just that bad.
The Black Shirts look more like a very light shade of gray.

love the score in this game.
That said Hemer from Wisco needs to blow out his knee for that cheap shot on the back of Martinez's knee.

Drink up, Husker fan......I've been doing it the entire season. Thanks to your boys, we're sending a 5 loss team to the Rose Bowl. Nice job.

We can thank Ohio State and Penn State for getting Wisconsin into the CCG but we have to thank the Huskers for rolling over like a bunch of bleeding cunts for sending them to the Rose Bowl.

When you self gloss a nickname for your defense and then they suck expect the play on said nic.
Don't like it, stop the opponents.

Wisconsin has put up 70 on that vaunted defense and have now taken Monte Ball out of the game. Maybe that will help the Huskers a little.

Most rushing yards allowed ever by the corn...
Martinez is horrible throwing the ball.

What are you talking about.....it's only 524 rushing yards with half of the 4th quarter left to play.

Make you laff stat of the game per the radio broadcast:
Nebraska won a conf title every 2.4 years when they were in the Big 2 plus 6. Since then they win one every 8.5 years.

The whole conference is
that bad. Like Mgo mentioned last week with it being destiny for OSU to go undefeated the one year it doesn't count, so was Wisconsin supposed to jump up and down like they actually accomplished something. Nebraska themselves would have been only 5-3 and division runners up had the refs not blatantly handed them two games, but thank god they did because then obviously Michigan would have beat Wisconsin because how could it go any other way? "Whooooo, just got our ass kicked by OSU but guess we're scabdick champions." Would have been humiliating.

Disturbing report that Auburn is looking at Bo Pelini.
Jay Jacobs might as well set the athletic complex on fire and tell all the donors to fuck themselves.

this husker squad reminds of one of Fran's ATM teams....they won 9 games...but you never had any idea if they were actually any good.
and on the subject of Martinez as a thrower....there was a thread earlier in the year i suggested that despite heaping GBR praise on Martinez's new improved motion he was still Taylor Martinez. NU fan was indignant at the suggestion. i dissented. kid is not a thrower. good football player but the day where you can be that ineffective when the other team KNOWS you are going to throw it on 3rd and more than 5....ended with Jammal Lord or something.
c'mon Bo get a QB and move TM to the slot and do some things. get him in the open field.

I've always got a guarded opinion.
But whatever Wisky team shows up they won't be running through the sieve that they saw yesterday.

Oh no - but it could end up being a great game, though...
That's the problem. Stanford has played in a lot of great games this season if, by great game, you mean close.
Three OTs this season, and almost a fourth last Friday.
Of their 11 wins, 7 were by 7 or fewer points and both losses were by 7 points or fewer.
The only real dominating wins were against Duke, Colorado, M2, and UCLA when the Baby Bears weren't really trying.
So yeah, I expect a good game in the Rose Bowl. Wisconsin is a lot better than Duke, Colorado and Cal. They play a game that's pretty similar to Stanford's too.

Of course he's not a thrower. That being said, he can go on a streak where you just gape at the throws he's completing. That happened in the those 4 second half comebacks this season.
Not that it matters, but NU is 3rd in the country with wins over teams in the final top 25.
However, that's like saying that you fucked 5 2's and got your balls stomped by a 10 and a 3.
NU's defense this year has shown its ugly side in 2 games prior to the CCG with horrible angles, confusion and just plain lack of speed in the interior. They must have been playing out of their asses during their 6 game win stretch after the tOSU game. The old demons returned. I hope they can rebound. This was our DC's first year as a DC and you'd think that he'd make a big step forward in being an effective coordinator.
I'm sure dumbass NU fans will clamor for Bo to fire a few people. The only one he should fire is that dead weight Barney Cotton. He's a horrible O-line coach.
The defensive coaches are all green in their jobs with 2 new coaches, 1 in his 2nd year and the DC in his first year as DC (as I mentioned). I'm holding out hope they study like hell what didn't work at all and fucking improve on it.
Wisconsin saw correctly that you can't pass on NU since they had a top 5 pass defense, but that you could run right at us with sweeps/counters because our speed sideline to sideline is God awful (something I hope is corrected in recruiting) along the line and the LB core. Most teams for some reason didn't try it as strong as Wisconsin did.
I'm so disappointed right now it's not even funny. I am soooo tired of these laughing stock games. Until they stop, NU will not get its due. Pelini might have been in line for B1G coach of the year for rallying his team to its first conference championship since 1999, but instead he pissed that all down his leg and handed it straight to Urban Meyer.

A byproduct of no decent Big 10 QBs and why throw when you can just run all over the place.

I think Wisky’s OC is in over his head. After the game he was talking about some of the big plays they ran (like Gordon on the jet sweep), and how they’ve been practicing these plays all year and they just brought them out for the CCG. Why not try them in a tight game with tOSU or PSU, you fucking moron. Or one of the other three games you lost by a FG.

Of course, when I have constipation it involves my lower digestive tract. With you, it involves your brain. Which is permanently lodged in your lower digestive tract. Which explains your confusion.

Ball runs harder than Dayne ever did. He'll have a decent pro career. As long as he doesn't wind up in Washington.
