IIRC that Texas team lost to John Blake and the eventual 3-8 Sooners in OT.
war Jarrail Jackson and the kid from Wynnewood, Oklahoma....
running back.....blanking here....
i gotta say i heard the OT on the radio (both teams had been shit for a while so the RRR wasn't on TV in Denver)....and OU was awful...i nearly cried when the kid from Wynnewood scored the winner. anyway, OU bounced back to go winless in Norman that year. ugh.

anyway, back on topic, it's a classic play.
in the situation with the game and conf title on the line.
and the world is not full of John Mackovic gets over on Tom Osborne and Charlie McBride moments...most of the time.

Didn't Priest Holmes do most of the damage that day? The pot smoker took a backseat or blocking role I believe.
