I really don't give a shit which team wins.


But they both seem to be sporting some pretty sweet gear this year.


Army has the better uniforms... while the Midshipmen have some of the coolest looking helmets I've seen in quite awhile.

I guess the academies aren't above being Nike's marketing bitches, because any attention is good attention, right?

i know its blasphemy to many but this annual tilt means almost nothing to me.

i'm an Air Force guy if i have to choose an academy....being in Colorado and such. most years AFA is better than both.

Somebody a while back suggested the book "A Civil War" by John Feinstein. I read that and gained a much greater appreciation for this game.

same here being a former wingnut, but you have to respect the tradition of both institutions and of this game... and realize that the AF was actually started as an extension of the Army, the Army Air Corp.

The Army glee club doing the national anthem was most impressive, to say the least.

my granddad was in the air corps. purple heart and air corps medal of honor. flew ploesti bombing mission which was one of the highest casualty missions among the allies not called DDay. u know your wwII history you know ploesti.

Good to know someone actually read it and enjoyed it. It should be required reading for any college football fan. Problem is it requires actuall reading, not just looking at pictures which eliminates much of this group.

Also read that book and enjoyed it. Still don't spend more than 5 minutes watching that game. :|

Gee I'm really sorry now that I missed out on seeing those fabulous new unis in action...but at least we have you here to provide an update based on your obviously well developed fashion sensibility. Tell me something though, how are the skin tight pants? Do they do a really good job of accentuating the junk and stuff?

While we're at it do you have any reviews of most recent Project Runway season? Unfortunately I had to miss all of the episodes and forgot to set my DVR.

Er, Screw's lack of interest in anything State-related should have been your first clue he didn't apply there. It's obvious he sent out applications to three schools: U of M, ND, and WMU.

Maybe because people realize that Army-Navy matters a whole lot more to those kids than any Bama or Florida game will ever matter to those kids.

Say what you want about the quality of the teams or the lack of significance to BTPCF, but the players from these two schools represent the best of the best of the youth in this country and I will always watch it.
