Maybe we'll have our own 12/12/12 concert tonight around 9 PM EST.
Make that a 12/14/12 concert--see you Friday.

We've taken care of everything
The words you hear, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It's one for all and all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why

pretty disappointed in The Who - Daltry doesn't have it anymore and they butchered Who Are You in the worst way.
But I so did appreciate the tribute to Keith Moon.
That was beautiful, man.

that stones performance was teerrrrrrrible. looked like a comedy where the joke is old withered and weak people doing young things.
pete townsend seems to still have his strength. what was that keith moon tribute as the second song. wrong place. or is this the right place so we can get the keith moon discussion going again.
i fucking hope paul mccartney fronts nirvana. that'd be epicly terrible. someone get yoko ono to pre-emptively break up the reformed nirvana before they go on stage. paul mccartney may be able to pull this off if he can channel the angst of having all his mony stolen by a one-legged cunt, or all the rights to his early efforts purchased by a jeri-curled pedophile. holding out for the pennyroyal tea/ ob-la-di-ob-la-da life goes on medley.

Saw 'em about 10 years ago in Toronto. Their "live sound" was like someone crumpling a paper bag into a microphone. Truly awful.

Peace!

If you mean "seniors cruise" hot, then perhaps yes. Or "convalescent home" hot.

WTF do you expect? The guy is 68 years old.
You're dreaming if you think you'll look half that good at 68.

Apparently so. Do you have even the slightest idea as to the quantity and quality of crumpet I sorted back then?
Now? Not so much. Although...
...you have to admit, I rather bear more than a passing resemblance to this bloke...
When that
Lord of the Rings trifle came out in the cinema, blimey but did I score myself all sorts of barking fresh wannabe-Hobbit arse.

Really? I was surprised how good he sounded at almost 70 years of age.
Never been a big Springsteen fan. Dude looked like he was trying to pass a kidney stone. And props to Bon Jovi for playing their entire catalog of music last night.
It took a few tries to get through to that call center. I told the lady I was originally going to donate $50, but Billy Crystal said he wanted us each to give a dollar.
