In New York, maximum imprisonment is 15 years on a C Felony, 25 years on a B Felony. No maximum of 20 years for any class of offense.

Not saying that 20 years imprisonment for incest isn't possible in New York (since I've honestly never had reason to look it up), but it's certainly not a maximum offense.

It's really a simple misunderstanding. Incest doesn't get you life in the south, it gives.

According to Find law, Incest in the 1st Degree is a B felony.
