OS & Software Question....
I saw a game recently on Amazon from a little over a decade ago that I really enjoyed back in the day. The product description says that it's for 98/ME/95. Is it possible to run it on a system currently running Win 7?

Download the .exe file (don't run it from its current location), then right-click it, and select "compatability mode."
Choose the latest option (sounds like 98, which gets sketchy), and run it from there.
Might work, might not.

Windows 9x runs like shit in a virtual environment.
Try running Windows 2000. I have it running in Oracle's VirtualBox...it's at least functional.

Which brings up a little problem with buying a PC out of the box, with Windows installed: If you install it yourself, you can leave unpartitioned space (I'll take a wild stab this is your situation, Diego). In todays world of 8000 terabyte drives, leaving a little unused isn't a factor. Down the road, you can use the extra space for... whatever. Like maybe installing 98 so you can take a nostalgia trip and play a game you used to enjoy.
A win 7/98 dual boot would be one goofyass setup, but I don't see where it would be a problem (says the guy who has never tried it... used to run a 2000/95 setup for years, for the exact reason Diego is asking).
